Use a camera to shoot the following, then find a way to best present your results. You can use a digital camera and upload the pictures to your Mac or you can take them using the built in camera.
Shoot...
1. A friend
2. Something that makes you happy
3. A meal
4. Your wheels (some mode of transport you use)
5. A self-portrait
6. A view form your window
7. What's in your bag
8. Your study space
9. Your favourite piece of clothing
10. Where you love to spend most of your time
11. An animal
12. Something you really want to show your class
When you have shot all of these you need to write a sentence or two about them, explaining what they are and why you chose them. Present your pictures any way you choose, be creative and use your imagination.
WEEK 5&6
Follow this link to the book report page to complete a book review of a book you have read recently (must have been read this year).
The website contains a number of different ways to present your book report and allows you to use your learning strengths (discovered in the MI tests) to present your work. This doesn't mean you MUST complete the book report in any given way, it simply allows you the freedom to choose how you want to present your book report.
Your book report must include a written component and an audio/visual component. For example, if you choose to make a movie, you must first go through the process of storyboarding your movie and making sure you have planned it thoroughly. If you do a collage you will need to have planned it with the pictures you want to use before you start cutting them out and sticking it together.
If you have another presentation idea (not listed on the website) please feel free to discuss it with your teacher.
Week 10
FINISHING OFF
Please use this week to get your iWeb up to date.
There should be a reflection (not a recount) for every piece of work that is in your iWeb.
There should be relevant pictures on all blog entries.
There should be no Latin writing at all in your iWeb. Don't just delete it though, replace it with something about the work you did.
Get them up to date before the holidays so your teachers can look through them during the break.
For a list of things that should be in your iWeb, please see your teacher.
